My favourite place.

La Ginesta

My favourite bar is La Ginesta. There are so many bars in Berga but the best for me is this one. It is in a little square next to the “Granja”.  It’s  little, comfortable and warm. The interior is amazing, the walls are covered with photographs of La Ginesta’s events and of the Patum. There is a TV, a bathroom and a dartboard. The barman is called Pep and he’s a very happy and good person, he always gives us all we want on Saturday’s nights and Sunday’s afternoons.

We usually drink beers and chupitos inside the bar and then we go outside to talk and meet other people. Berga is a very boring city, and on Saturday’s nights you can only meet people in Cal Negre or in La Ginesta.

The accused of attacking the ex-partnet of his girlfriend says that he was attacked first.


Daniel P.M was accused of attacking the ex-partnet of his girlfriend yesterday. he killed him in Castellbell i el Vilar and yesterday when he was accused in Barcelona, he said that he was only trying to defend himself because the ex-partner of his girlfriend had tried to kill him first. The girlfriend of the accused said to the judge that she saw how his boyfriend was killing the man. The forensic police said that the victim received 12 stabbings with a lot of violence and because of the jealousy.
Finally, the murderer, was sentenced to 21 years in prison.

Composition about a sport event

On the 12th of July, Spain became champion of the world. It was a hot Sunday and I was in my sofa when I turned on the TV to watch the football match, Spain versus Netherlands. The match was so exciting but a little dirty because Robben's team was commiting fouls all the time.
Spain played very well, creating chances of goal all the time but the match finished 0-0 so they had to play extra-time.
The minute 116 of the match arrived the victory's goal for Spain.
Andrés Iniesta scored the expected goal to give the victory for Spain.
I was very happy and while I was screaming: Goaaaaaaaaal! I heard a lot of firecrackers in the street.
That night was very special for all Spanish people. Now we can say we are champions of the world.

The Black Rhinoceros

The Black Rhinoceros or Hook-lipped Rhinoceros is a species of rhinoceros. They are mammals and they live in Kenya, Tanzània, Camerun, Àfrica del Sud, Namíbia i Zimbabwe.

An adult Black Rhinoceros stands 140–170 cm high at the shoulder and is 3.3–3.6 m in length. An adult weighs from 800 to 1,400 kg . The females are smaller than the males.

This animal eats  leafy plants, branches, shoots, thorny wood bushes, and fruit.

The black rhinoceros are Endangered and maybe in a few years, we can't see anyone black rhinocero.

Final reflection 2009-10

I'am Nil and I'm going to talk about a final reflection. The activity I liked most was make the blog, because we could make a lot of activities, and I enjoyed a lot doing the recipe for example.
I think the oral presentation was very difficult because we has a little time to do it, and it's difficult to speak English in front of everybody. I think the personal presentation was easy because isn't difficult to write about yourself. The rest of activities were fun. I liked a lot, when we watched a film, but I don't liked when we read the Canterville Ghost because I don't liked the book.
I didn't read from my notes, but I was very nervous and I didn't use the good vocabulary, and I didn't pronounce good all the words. I think my blog presentation, is very well-designes, and has got photos, but there isn't a lot of words. I have learn't a lot of things, how the other years, but I need to improve my pronuntation.

My childhood

I haven't got many memories about my childhood. I only know, I was a good boy, and I was very different than now.  I liked to play football, and I was drawing all the day.
I was a good person, I always helped everybody. I remember, I was happier than now, because I didn't have problems, all things were better. I remember than I was always playing football in the street, and I never played Tv or the computer, now the things are very different. I remember that when I was 10 years old, I was some excited to do the communion, but now, if I was in the past, I will not do it because now I don't believe in God.
I want to go to the past to can change something, but I know it's impossible.

My favourite English song

My favourite English song is called Beautiful.

The singer of this song is Eminem. His true name is Marshall Bruce Mathers, and his stage name coms from the union of its initial M&M.

He was born on the 17th of October in 1972. He is one of the most popular rap musicians in the world. He only sings rap, and I love this music style.

The song speaks about Eminem's life. The lyrics say that he is so sad, and he doesn't know how to be happy.

The lyrics say that we must put in the place of other people to know how they feel too.

In the videoclip appears him walking in a destroyed church. He finds a lot of dark people, and he sings for them. Then, he see three little boys and a machine is destroying the field of baseball. They are sad because they can't play in it.

In my opinion, this is a perfect song, and I like the singer and the lyrics. I don't like the videoclip because I think it isn't connected to the lyrics.

What will be my life like 20 years?

In 20 years, I think I will be a good person, and a good-looking man. I will be a very tall man, with brown eyes and blond hair. I will be thin, and with very big feet. I will live in a very little house, I won't be too rich to live in a big house, bacause the life in the future will be so difficult I think.I will live with my family, my wife and my two sons. We will have a cat, her name will be Pepi.
In twenty years, I will have a job. It won't be a very good job because I won't win much money.
It won't be a good job, but I will love it. I will be a drawer, a painter and a illustrater. I will love it, and I will work in an office with a lot of pepople. We will draw for television programmes, magazines... I will paint graffiti for shops or in private homes, to the people in the city. They will ask me that I paint her garage walls. I will study " Belles arts ", and I will teach to my sons how to draw and paint.
In the future I will have a lot of hobbies. In my free time, I will go to paint with my two sons, in a legal wall. I will also drive very fast with my car in a good road, cause I love speed.
I will go to a lot of places with my family. I think I will smoke, but no very much however I will play football with C.E Berga. I think I will be a happy person, but I won't be a rich person. The money isn't all.

Chiken with chips

POLLASTRE AMB PATATES/ POLLO CON PATATAS/ CHICKEN WITH CHIPS

COOK TIME: 35 MINUTES

LEVEL: MEDIUM

INGREDIENTS

· 1 chicken drumstick

· 100gr. Peas

· 2 potatoes

· 1 carrot

· 1 onion

· Oil

· Salt

· Pepper

· Water

METHOD

1 First put the oil and the chicken drumstick into the pan. If you like, you can add some salt and pepper to your taste.

2 In a separated pan, fry oil, tomato, onion and chopped carrots. Three minutes later add a little water in it.

Stir regularly for 7 minutes and mix it with the chicken

3 While the chicken and the vegetable mixture are cooking take a pot and put some water and the peas to simmer.

4 While the peas are simmering, peel and quarter some potatoes and put them in another pan to fry. Cook them for 5 minutes until they get brown. Stir them frequently.

5 Place the chicken drumstick with the fryed and the peas and add the chips. If you prefer you can make a green salad.

6 If you like, put the dish into the oven for about 5 minutes.

7 Finally, serve it immediately.

Halloween Composition

It was a dark and stormy night when I left my house. I walked around the street 1 hour, and finally, I arrived in my goal. I was in a very big house, dark and horror. I entered in it, and I saw a Pumkin on the floor. The pumkin said to me:
-You can't stay here. This place is very dangerous.
I didn't listen to the pumpkin, I continued to find my goal.
I was a journalist, and my friends said to me that in that house, a vampire lived. I wanted to take a picture of him. It was very dangerous, but I thought: I'll be rich if I take this picture!
That house was horrible, there were mummie, spieders and another criatures.
Finally, I arrived in a room. I opened the door, and there was a vampire inside the room.
Quikly, I took the camera, and I took the picture.
The vampires can't see light, and the flash of the camera killed him. I was rich, but, every year at halloween a vampire walks in my house...

Hi!, my name is Nil. I'm 14 years old. I live in Berga with my brother, my mother and my father. I live in la Valldan nº29. I'm tall and thin and I have brown eyes.

My brother is 11 years old, and still goes to school.

He is tall and thin, and have brown eyes.

I think I'm a good person, but a little shy.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, I play football with C.F Berga. Every Saturday, we play a football match.

Every Thursday before going to play football, I play the guitar. The other days, I do my homework and I play with my computer. I do this things every day in the evening, the rest of the day I go to the high school.

I have many hobbies. In my free time, I play football, I make graffitis, I play with the computer and I play the guitar.

The most important for me is football. It is my favorite sport and I love it.

I love graffitis too. I think is an art, and I don't understend the people that think it's a delict.
